This is a pretty cool application of ad space, from a Canadian newspaper.

Since this is an ad/marketing blog, I won’t go too deeply into why I think this is scary for the future of newspapers and journalistic integrity (I’ll just direct you to my blog post at Black Marks on Wood Pulp if you’re curious) but I will say it’s great from a marketing perspective. I love it. It sticks out. Breaks through the clutter. Makes you stop and say, “Hey, neat.”
